NightHook Dispatch is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Josh Griffith. This policy explains how we handle information in providing after-hours phone answering and dispatch services to towing companies. Questions: support@nighthookdispatch.com.
Information we collect
When someone calls a tow company that uses NightHook Dispatch after hours, we collect what the caller provides on the call: name, callback phone number, vehicle details, location, and a recording and transcript of the call (announced at the start of the call). For tow company staff, we collect the names, mobile phone numbers, and contact details the company provides, along with records of their consent to receive text messages.
How we use it
- To answer calls on behalf of our tow company clients and pass the job details to them
- To send job dispatch text alerts to tow company staff who have opted in
- To keep records of consent and to monitor service quality
Service providers
We use service providers to run the service (for example, phone and text message delivery, voice processing, and hosting). They process data only to provide the service to us. Job details collected on a call are shared with the tow company that was called so it can serve the caller.
SMS and mobile information
Mobile information and SMS opt-in data/consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are shared only with service providers that deliver messages on our behalf (such as our SMS platform and carriers). We do not sell personal information.
Opting out
Tow company staff can reply STOP to any text to stop messages, reply HELP for help, or email support@nighthookdispatch.com. Msg & data rates may apply. See our SMS Messaging Terms.
Retention
Call records, transcripts, and consent records are kept as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and demonstrate consent, and are then deleted.
