Terms of Service

These terms govern use of NightHook Dispatch, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Josh Griffith ("NightHook Dispatch," "we," "us"). By using our services or this website, you agree to these terms.

The service

NightHook Dispatch provides after-hours phone answering and dispatch for towing companies. An automated voice agent answers calls in the client company's name, collects vehicle, location, and callback details, and texts the job details to the company's owner or on-call driver. Specific service details are set out in each client's service agreement.

Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for the services they provide to their own customers, for following up on jobs we pass to them, and for ensuring that the staff phone numbers they provide belong to people who have consented to receive job alerts.

No guarantee

We work to deliver every call and message reliably, but phone and text networks can fail or be delayed. The service is provided "as is," and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for missed, delayed, or lost calls or messages, or for indirect or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date.

SMS Messaging Terms

Program name: NightHook Dispatch job alerts

Who receives texts: Owners, on-call drivers, and other staff of tow companies that contract with NightHook Dispatch, who opt in on the service signup form.

Message types: Job dispatch alerts, such as the pickup location, vehicle details, and the caller's name and callback number for a job taken after hours. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.

Message frequency varies with call volume, typically one message per job handled.

Msg & data rates may apply.

Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. After you reply STOP, you'll get one confirmation message and no more messages. Reply START to subscribe again. For help, you can also email support@nighthookdispatch.com.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
